This is the official website for the International Development Studies Students' Association at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus. Here you can find information about our upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and ask questions about anything IDS related (e.g. questions about courses, volunteering, Professors, etc.).
The IDSSA acts as a student-body liaison to the Centre for Critical Development Studies at UTSC. However, due to the interdisciplinary nature of International Development Studies (IDS) we welcome students from all disciplines (that includes you science, math and management students!). The IDSSA is also an interest-based club that focuses on global issues such as poverty alleviation, human rights, humanitarian assistance, peace and conflict, social entrepreneurship, multilateral and bilateral organizations and many more interesting subjects that have fallen under the umbrella term of IDS. We will be hosting great events this year such as our Speakers Series, Movie/Documentary Nights and social events. There will also be added benefits for IDSSA members, such as IDSSA exclusive events such study sessions and volunteer opportunities. We are so grateful to our members and appreciate your support!
