PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART EXHIBIT CONTEST
The second annual International Development Conference (IDC) 2013 will be hosting our first photography and art display competition. The competition is open to students studying at the University of Toronto to showcase the amazing passion and talent our students have to offer. The conference will take place on February 9th and 10th, 2013. The photography and art exhibitions will be displayed throughout the weekend during lunch time breaks and during the Gala on the Saturday night.

Students may enter the contest with a maximum of five submissions with either photographs or art displays centering on the theme of “Inspire” OR "I am making a difference", which will have the overarching goal of visually showcasing stories from around the world. An optional 100-word paragraph can be submitted to provide background information to portray the story behind the photo or art piece. If you would like to submit the same photos for the IDSSA Photo Contest for International Development and Culture Week as well as for the Conference Contest please inform us upon submission. The first 20 people to submit photos will receive one (1) photo printed FREE!

Voting will be done democratically by conference delegates. Each delegate will receive one (1) vote. Voting will take place throughout the weekend and the winner will be announced during the closing ceremonies on Sunday, February 10th, 2013.
